The Pre-school area.  

Three Year Olds: The three year olds will be introduced to more formal programs including art, music, reading readiness, science, math and lots of fun.

Four and Five Year Olds: Your child's self-image will be developed in very positive ways.  We will present many opportunities to succeed in our programs at an individual pace.  Some activities will combine the two age groups to assist the four year olds in gaining understanding of what to expect once in kindergarten.

Your child's social skills will be developed through interaction and communication.  Free and guided play, cooperative problem solving and self expression, such as story telling, drama, and music, will encourage your child to be self-controlled and courteous.

Your child will be intellectually motivated by use of sensory activities, language skills, and other educational tools.  Experience with numbers, books, abstract concepts and art materials will prepare your child for success in school.

Pre-School Program - Three, Four and Five Year Olds: A formal morning pre-school program will be offered at Kids Come First from fall to early spring in conjunction with public school operating dates.  It will be available mornings five days a week. It can be utilized as an individual program or combined with afternoon childcare.  The program will mirror a school classroom setting with a full curriculum that includes not just number and alphabet recognition but also the age appropriate application.
